I'm a third-year Electrical Engineering student at UCLA, driven by a passion for problem-solving at the intersection of hardware and software. My experience includes designing sensor systems for medical research, programming microcontrollers, and creating custom hardware for real-world applications. With a background in C++, Python, and MATLAB, I’m focused on building technical skills that make a tangible impact.Currently, I’m working in UCLA's Bionics Lab, where I designed a grip-strength sensor system used in stroke patient recovery trials. This role has honed my abilities in circuit design, embedded programming, and effective collaboration with clinical teams.   - Designed grip strength measurement system with SAMD21 microcontroller and FSRs.- Built devices to generate high-quality training data for AI analysis of grip strength and kinematics.- Networked grip strength and kinematics tracking system with several simultaneous PCs using wifi.- Created an efficient soldering method for 32 AWG stranded wire to support durable wearable cables.- Trained therapists on effective device usage and provided technical support during trials with patients.- Modeled sensor housing in CAD and produced prototypes with 3D printing.- Programmed SAMD21 microcontrollers in C++ and networked devices via I2C communication protocols.
