As a member of the Revionics Science Services organization, my responsibilities as a Senior Data Analyst, focus on applying my retail industry, client, and business experiences in helping our data scientists in the development of the analytics needed to extract the significant facts, analyses and interpretation of the myriads of “big data” generated by Revionics clients in the retail and related industries.

Senior member of the Assortment and Space Optimization team. I am responsible for client implementations, store optimizations, new release and function testing, and participate in ASO requirements and development. Optimized in excess of 2000 retail supermarket center stores and aisles, yielding optimal sizing of center stores and aisles. Benefits include reduction non productive space, increased sales and profits (1.5 - 5%), and reductions in inventories.

ROI has developed a better science based solution that is used by retailers and consumer products companies to optimize the consumer shopping experience while maximizing financial performance. ROI's Total Store Optimizer® brings macro space management, store remodeling, and assortment planning to a new level of efficiency, allowing the retailer to predict and measure the impact of proposed space and assortment changes on the revenue and profit of the total store.Responsibilities, beyond the role of Sr. BA and SME, include: product and industry training for new employees, QA review of optimization results, product review and requirements definition for new, expanded functionality. Activities include use of the product in providing store optimizations, and early implementations with new clients. Produced over 350 store optimizations for Supermarket clients, yielding upwards of 1.8% - 4% increases in sales and profits.

Consulting assignment with large direct mail industry leader -- ADVO/Valassis. Developed Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) for a new, innovative Targeting System which combined the requirements of the merged companies, ADVO and Valassis.
