Instructor representing the Heartland Institute of Financial Education (HIFE). HIFE is a non-profit organization that partners with Colleges and Universities through the United States. We offer workplace learning on-site at a corporation or organization in the area of comprehensive financial wellness for employees. HIFE understands that corporations that provide retirement benefits (i.e. 401(k), 403(b), other types of retirement plans) have a fiduciary responsibility to educate their people in this area and many companies are unclear as to where to go to get this kind of information. Unlike many investment companies, our non-solicitous approach allows us to provide objective financial education not just about retirement, but also debt management, children's education, and proper protection strategies for families and their assets. We look forward to have the opportunity to show corporations and organizations more about the basic courses, which include Building a Financial Foundation as well as more specific elective courses, which include Retirement Planning, Maximizing Your 401(k), and Tax Planning Strategies. Benefits of these programs include 1) proactive compliance with ERISA laws through a FINRA recognized, college and university endorsed, non-profit organization with little to no cost to the employer2) an increase in employee productivity by relieving stress and eliminating lost time from personal financial struggles through proper planning techniques, and 3) overall more financially responsible employees.

Certified College Consultant representing the Heartland Institute of Financial Education with the goal of providing the opportunity for every eligible and willing student to attain a college degree.The "HIFE CPP" is a college planning coaching and funding program, the purpose of which is to help students and parents successfully navigate the complex college preparation, selection and funding process.Our coaches works directly with students and parents to establish an action-plan for college selection and funding. We help the student develop a personal "resume" that will aid them in competing for valuable student loans, awards, grants and other forms of assistance that can help offset their college education costs.HIFE CPP supports the efforts of high school counselors and parents by helping families qualify for and access federal, state and college-controlled funds. Monies colleges spend to attract quality students. HIFE's coaches work to improve the student's chances of qualifying for these funds.The Heartland Institute provides the detailed analysis and strategies that help “mitigate” the high cost of college. Each client/family is assigned a “Coach” who works directly with the Student and Parents, assisting them with the college planning/funding/admissions process.
