My clients are #2. Crazy statement? I don’t think so, because my employees are #1. Growing up in the construction industry, I’ve formed a strong philosophy about leadership and team development. I feel that my employees are the key to my success, which is the vision I seek to spread throughout the industry. After 25 years, I’m still passionate about changing the culture of construction industry companies, as well as developing new talent and creating the best workplace possible for my team and the construction industry overall. I feel that if employees are encouraged, coached, allowed to make mistakes without fear, and pushed to develop their skills, they can grow individually, which allows them to provide the best possible service and outcomes for clients. When my team knows that we care about them and their families, they give their best back to the clients, and the company flourishes. Success and rewards are shared, as is a heavy workload. I’m committed to providing my team with a workplace they love, and keeping ABS the leader in our slice of construction services in our region.I'm a free-market evangelist, and will often push folks to see that the free-market can solve most of the "issues" we face as a country, and down to our industry.
