BNBbuddy (now Altido) manage Airbnb properties in Edinburgh and Cannes. Working with property landlords and guests I assisted the management team in ensuring that the most efficient and professional standards of service were experienced by all parties. In order to grow BNBbuddy's presence in Edinburgh, I was also tasked with running and developing various marketing projects.

My time at Colliers International has been primarily spent working with the Retail Services team. Working with and learning from a team of experienced brokers with years of market experience in both Asia and other regions, I got a real insight into how Hong Kong's retail real estate market works. My role involved; researching and analysing Hong Kong's retail market as well as recruiting and meeting with new clients who's concepts and brands demonstrated genuine growth potential.

Alix Global is a young Malaysian company specialising in neo-marketing consultancy. The company's partnership with Swedish crowdfunding service FundedByMe has allowed Alix Global to become one of 6 approved Equity Crowd Funding operators in Malaysia. My role focused on growing Alix Global's brand within the Malaysian SME community as well as developing a comprehensive marketing and growth strategy.

This position offered me more responsibility within a professional environment. Standards and precise preparation were important at Browns where I was regularly tasked with supervising and motivating other members of staff as well as being involved in face to face sales of premium alcohol brands with customers from a range of backgrounds. This position taught me the value of forming meaningful, long term customer relationships.

The major advantage of my time here was the team building skills I learnt over a prolonged period of time. My knowledge of Scotland’s food and beverage industry was drastically improved as a result of my time at The Royal Scots Club. Working as part of a team, I contributed to high volume sales of products such as beers, wines and premium Scottish whiskies.

My time at Premier Inn gave me a good insight into how a multinational company operates. As someone who hopes to have a successful business career, I feel that my short time with Premier Inn provided me with a fine experience of a well managed and efficient organisation. Working within such a large organisation allowed me to see the use of a variety of marketing strategies designed to target different market segments in practice.
