From early stage energy companies to Innovation Teams at Humana and Humana Government Business (HGB), Jack has an array of experience in entrepreneurial environments spanning over the last twenty-seven years. Jack earned his MBA with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville in 2006 and has fostered business growth by developing ideas into pilot programs and integrating them seamlessly into operational business segments.Currently, as a part of HGB's Revlab, a small, agile team developed to create products and services that generate new revenue for HGB, Jack takes concepts from discovery all the way through the product development life cycle. As a cofounder on the team, Jack specializes in consumer focused analysis of all aspects of a concept to test its desirability, feasibility, viability and implementation. Previously, as part of the Innovation and Optimization team, Jack was accountable for growing and diversifying HGB’s revenue channels by identifying new business opportunities and working with potential clients and partners to develop strong value propositions. Jack led capture pursuit activities including developing in-depth understanding of unique customer requirements and the competitive environment, developing and guiding winning strategies and utilizing a structured process for developing winning proposals. Jack was also a member of the transition team for the largest transition in military medical history for the T2017 TRICARE East contract and continues to provide thought leadership for transition teams.In his spare time, Jack enjoys fishing and founded the DeSales High School bass fishing team in 2016, and still volunteers as a coach.
