One of the biggest challenges most business owners have is making the most of limited time and resources to coordinate, execute, monitor, and measure internal administration, and external communication with different stakeholders, whilst achieving social impact.As a Communications Executive and Administrator I help business leaders and senior executives stay organised and maximise the visibility of their companies through strategic face-to-face and digital communications across various platforms. For 8+ years I have worked with different organisations handling important client accounts, being the lead point of contact for key client matters, anticipating clients' needs, working within each company to ensure client deadlines are met, and helping clients achieve objectives. As well as my work engagements, I am a FIBA (International Basketball Federation) Level 1 Coach, and the 1st Vice Chair of the Mombasa Basketball Association - the body mandated to run basketball activities in Kenya's Mombasa county in affiliation with the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF). I have been privileged to professionally coach 3 basketball teams to achieve the highest level of participation and to win tournaments. As part of my passion for social impact, I use 'basketball for change' to transfer life and leadership skills, and to make a difference in the lives of youths in my local community.Having worked in different sectors including freight forwarding, management consulting, sports, charity and legal, I have had the pleasure of meeting people from different backgrounds and walks of life. One key lesson that has stood out for me over the years is 'planting seeds and being patient to watch them grow.' Interacting and building relationships with people with different world views and experiences takes patience and commitment.
