January 2019 - April 2023 Chair of the Sign Architecture Council, collaborating with other architects within Adobe to nurture and evolve the overall architecture of the Sign service. Continuing to evolve Document Cloud infrastructure including global expansion, operations on Azure as well as AWS, leveraging micro services, with a constant focus on reliability, availability, and scalability. Responsible for all aspects of Adobe Sign database infrastructure.Also responsible for Adobe Sign analytics, both for internal business users as well as customer facing. March 2014 – December 2018Technical lead for project to offer data sovereignty to users of Adobe Sign. Project required taking SaaS service that had a single instance in one data center and getting it to work with multiple, interconnected instances across geographically dispersed data centers. Dovetailed with transition of infrastructure from a traditional hosted system to pure IaaS using AWS with 100% virtualization. Responsible for all aspects of Adobe Sign database infrastructure.August 2012 – March 2014Part of team chartered to implement a disaster recovery model as well as stabilize eSign SaaS service Adobe acquired in 2011 (EchoSign). Worked closely with operations team to achieve 99.99% uptime by repetitively refining fragile aspects of the original architecture. Technical lead for database and file storage architecture including managing relationships with third party vendors. Participated in conversion of hand crafted application built in 2006 with 100% manual deployment, into a 90+% virtualized deployment with codified infrastructure using Chef and VMware. Participated in upgrading infrastructure to meet strict compliance standards including SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and PCI DSS v3.0.Responsible for all aspects of Adobe Sign database infrastructure.
