Designed and implemented extensive test suite to test client-server integration platforms running on Oracle, Sql2000, Informix, AIX p-series, Linux, Windows 2000. Shipped products with high quality.Retained a major customer and a major installer by recovering maximum amount of salvageable data from system crash, then reconstructing and backing up system to prevent further disasters.Received a “Night on the Town” award for customer dedication.Successfully led products with shifting, poor requirements and poor quality to ship with high quality by forcing requirements disclosure, implementing automated testing, training team members in test automation, scheduling and coordinating testing activities.Classified as Top Talent in GE (top 10% employees).

Co-designed and implemented call processing software modules for the attenuation feature. Designed test suites and conducted white box testing for attenuation.Saved the company money by completing the feature with high quality and ahead of schedule. Received commendation from second-line manager for early completion of the feature.

Designed, implemented, an executed an exhaustive test suite for LCWin4 GUI and server using Win Runner and Test Director. Configured the appropriate PBX and Informix databases.Successfully shipped software product early and with high quality by automating over 80% of the test cases, coordinating the testing efforts of team members, and prioritizing defects. Received commendation for the high quality and the early completion of the project.

Tested the GUI, the Informix database, the client side and the server side of HDMS 5.0, using Win Runner, Test Director. Improved the quality of the product by discovering over 50 software defects on the GUI, the client side and on the server side. Strong contributor to the successful shipment of a late software product by dramatically improving its quality through a combination of automated tests, defects prioritization, and close collaboration with Development. Received the Best Test Engineer award, and a $2000 bonus for helping the project reach its milestone and improving its quality.

Generated and automated over 100 test cases for the GoldRush automated tool. Repaired and brought back on line abandoned Zboxes and test clients. Repaired the Token-Ring, upgraded nine test clients to OS2 WarpConnect. Tested all the features (ACD, pick-up, call forwarding, etc…) of the PBX call processing software. Maintained the test environment from release to release.Used the reclaimed Zboxes and clients to reduce the automated test execution time by half (16 hours) by running the test suites in parallel from both ends and stopping halfway. Improved the PBX software quality by uncovering over 150 defects, some of which not found by previous, more experienced testers.Generated and automated all the new features of a new PBX software release.
