At the MBTA, I was an intern with the Service Planning/Schedules Team under the Operations, Planning, Scheduling, and Strategy department. In this role, I audited bus stops, surveyed bus riders, and perform outreach, specifically for bus priority lanes along Broadway in Everett and Blue Hill Avenue. I also worked on a capstone presentation as part of my internship, regarding bus network redesign, specifically for the Longwood Medical Area. I discussed in a presentation better routings for routes in the Longwood Medical Area, layover facilities, bus stops, bus lanes, and transit signal priority. On the schedules side of things, I helped stock up frequented rapid transit stations with paper schedules and helped package and distribute them to important places of interest, such as schools, libraries, town halls, public housing, etc.

As a Street Ambassador, I conduct interviews and have conversations with community members at public spaces in the Boston area about nearby green transportation projects, such as the Upper Mass Ave Bike Lane Improvements, the Orange Line Shutdown of 2022, Brookline Avenue Pop Up Bus Lanes, the Blue Hill Avenue Transportation Action Plan, and most recently, the Southwest Corridor Improvement Plan.

At Green Streets, I collaborated on their What Moves Us project, which is a video interview project which is aimed to inspire others to commute in car-light ways. I interviewed community members about their experiences with sustainable transportation and how it benefits them. I used editing softwares such as Shotcut to edit the videos for the Green Streets website. I also preformed outreach on social media and the Green Streets blog to reach a wide-ranging audience of sustainable transportation users of many different backgrounds.
