My job is centered on hormone analysis of fecal samples from a variety of Animal Kingdom's animals. I am learning how to run enzyme immuno-assays, then orgnanize, analyze and graph the data to be shared with zoo managers and keepers. I help Animal Kingdom provide the best of care for their animals.

I took care of wild ground squirrels and marmots on a daily basis, including feeding, cleaning cages, recording body weight, and measuring food intake. I also completed an Honors Thesis about the physiology of hibernation. I have experience anesthetizing wild rodents and completing blood draws as well as inserting ear tags.
