Hello, and welcome to my profile. I'm Jacklyn!I have a decade of experience climbing the many ladders of the tech industry. As a fresh-faced grad I cut my teeth as a validation technician testing intel graphics drivers for WHQL certification, where I earned a name for myself by automating away some of the more tedious aspects of our work. With that recognition came the opportunity to put my name on the automation tools of our team, and when that team dried up my reputation landed me a role as a database engineer on another.Throughout my career I have come to realized that I have more of a mind for tracking work, spotting irregularities, and handling the daily duties and communications required of management. When the project for my DB engineering came to a close, I followed my calling into management, and am pleased I did so. I have an impeccable eye for intelligent, devoted workers, and a genuine demeanor that makes communication easy and effective. My technical background has also left me with strong problem-solving skills for working through workplace issues and conflicts.Aside from my career I've spent my hobby time contributing to other projects. I've published multiple stories. I've done software and design on an adventure game title. I've administrated an online Discord community of 40k users. I've developed a TTRPG and published a supplement for it. I'm passionate about staying active, and giving myself to projects I enjoy inside and outside of the professional sphere.Demand doesn't stop, it just changes. That's what makes it fun.

Additionally, as an English tutor, I had many opportunities to help students whose primary language was not English. While I did not learn any languages from the experience, I learned how to communicate with someone who does not yet understand English idioms.
