Exquisite Black Women was birthed from the vision of founder Jacklyn Walker. Ms. Walker's desire was to help black women see their worth and beauty by exposing them to empowering images.​This spurred Jacklyn to create an online presence that has now grown to over 4,000 members. Ms. Walker is now mobilizing her base to create more content and events that push the vision of this movement.
