I’m Jack, a tech enthusiast with a passion for innovation and the stories that connect us. My unconventional path includes a decade in sales, account management, and now, contributing to qomodo’s mission to secure the future of IoT.Despite being dyslexic, I studied English Literature because I believe our stories shape how we connect and I've always seemed to enjoy making my life difficult. Out of uni, I began my career with the Labour Party which taught me a lot about resilience; after being told to f*** off for my political views, hearing “no” in sales became just part of the process.In my late twenties, after a successful stint in the construction industry at a SaaS business, I swapped a desk for a self-converted Ford Transit campervan, travelling from Newcastle to Armenia over 18 months. That journey wasn’t just about exploration; it was about proving that flexibility and adaptability are more than skills—they're a lifestyle. My fiancée and I later took this spirit to Africa for another year of adventure, all the while, I supported startups remotely, helping them close more deals and grow their revenue.These experiences fuel my work at qomodo, where we’re not just protecting IoT devices, we’re pioneering the future of smart tech.
