On assignment to lead the Canadian deployment of a new Global ERP system implementation and transformation programs to our 10,000+ WSP Canada, A49, and Golder professionals in Canada. This will be a growth enabler for WSP in Canada to take our next step, supporting a common set of business analytics and processes to deliver on our 2022-2024 strategic roadmap. Duties include working across global regions on core ERP development, participation in change management and global leadership teams, and managing the change management activities in Canada to realize the value of this ERP implementation and business simplification programs.

Canadian sales leader for the integrated Johnson Controls Canada and Tyco Fire and Integrated Security Canada direct sales teams. My responsibilities included leading Canadian sales integration efforts, aligning sales rewards and benefits, increasing our sales capacity, aligning sales management compensation, aligning Salesforce CRM, and training and development. With 300+ direct sales team members and $800M+ in orders growing at double digits, Johnson Controls Canada is the industry leader in creating solutions to help our customers improve the performance of their buildings with leading brands like Simplex Fire, Software House, Tyco Security, Metasys, Grinnell Sprinkler, Ansul Supression and York.

Led 1000+ Canadian employees with responsibility for the profitable growth of the Johnson Control's Building Efficiency Canadian direct branch business. Delivered double-digit increases in orders, revenues, and profitability making Canada one of the highest performing areas in North America with in excess of $400M in annual revenues leading up to the Tyco merger. Was honoured by the Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC) and Department of National Defence (DND) for our work aligning our leave policy to support active reservists and our work with Canada Company that assist veterans transition to civilian life. Together both of these programs enabled us to bring in highly trained reservists and veterans to support our expanding team of world class building management, security & fire, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment & technical service personnel.

Oversaw a team of 16 senior business and project development professionals focused on developing large, technology driven projects across Canada. In my first two years increased qualified orders pipeline 80% to over $300M, increased secured orders 67% to $68M, and expanded margins 200 bps. Role included strategic leadership, forecasting, budgeting, team development and succession planning, government and industry relations, liaison, and development. Growth focused on the leveraging of convergence of systems and networks to drive performance based outcomes for our largest clients in commercial real estate (CRE), Municipal / provincial / federal government, Industrial, power generation, oil&gas, health care, and higher-ed. These included large new construction, major renovations, building-wide systems integration, and public-private-partnerships (P3).

Lead Johnson Controls 120+ Toronto employees with responsibility for the profitable growth of the Building Efficiency direct branch business with sales, operations, P&L, leadership development and planning responsibility. While leading the Toronto branch, Toronto grew to 2nd largest branch in secured orders, 3rd largest in profitability in North America (out of 100+ branches). Won top branch North American EBITDA award (2011) and three safety awards (2011, 2012, 2013) for creating an injury free culture. Completed Johnson Controls Building Efficiency Leadership Development Program (2013) with a focus on organizational strategy development, strategy mapping, and strategy implementation.

Lead Johnson Controls 15+ Southern Ontario employees with responsibility for the profitable growth of the Building Efficiency direct branch business with sales, operations, P&L, leadership development and planning responsibility. While leading Southern Ontario, managed through a global recession. As orders dropped, focused on business cost drivers to maintain profitability. As a result we were well positioned on the rebound to capture business and market share, delivering 16% EBIT returns after allocations. Won top branch return-on-sales (ROS) award in Canada (2009) and three safety awards (2008, 2009, 2010) for creating an injury free culture.
