As a passionate mechanical engineering student, I'm driven by a fascination for innovation and problem-solving, along with a strong curiosity to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world applications. Currently a fourth year student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Missouri, I am enthusiastic about translating classroom knowledge into practical solutions that address complex challenges in the field.Throughout my academic journey, I've actively engaged in coursework focused on topics such as thermal fluids, materials science, fluid mechanics, dynamics, manufacturing, design, etc., while also participating in hands-on projects that have honed my skills in Solidworks, Matlab, Excel, and design. Eager to contribute to the industry, I've supplemented my education with experience as a Tool Design Engineering Intern at S&C Electric Company in Chicago, Illinois. I contributed to the design and redesign of tools and fixtures by creating 2D drawings and 3D models using Solid Edge. I collaborated with many design engineers to determine material requirements, gathered measurements using various tools, and gained hands-on experience with CNC machines, manual mills, lathes, 3D printers, and water jets. Additionally, I worked closely with production teams to refine designs and improve my understanding of tool functionality and manufacturing processes. This experience helped me deepen my understanding of engineering and design by providing hands-on exposure to the full product development lifecycle, from conceptualizing and modeling components to collaborating with production teams and gaining practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection.I am deeply engaged in exploring emerging technologies and methodologies that are transforming the field of mechanical engineering. I aim to leverage cutting-edge tools and design principles to contribute to innovative solutions in mechanical systems and product development.
