Conference ChairMidwest Ux Oct 2014 - Oct 2015Columbus, Ohio, UsI chaired the Midwest UX 2015 conference, assembling and leading an organizing team of 20. We first submitted a proposal to host the conference in Pittsburgh, competing with several other cities. After we were awarded the opportunity, we had a little over a year to plan the program, social events, and logistics, and secure monetary support from sponsors. In it's 5th year, the conference broke several records. It sold out, with attendance somewhere around 460, and we brought in more sponsorship funds than any previous year of the conference.
