Working on DiskANN in Rust as part of the Azure Cosmos DB team.

Technical lead for ads measurement, reporting, and audiences. Defining strategy for addressing advertising signal loss challenges, complying with new regulations like the Digital Markets Act in EU, and transforming all ads systems to be more private. I also support the broader ads engineering organization in corporate development activities.

Rust expert for the blockchain team, which was one of Meta's early Rust investments. I worked on supply chain security, build and testing systems, and helped train and educate the team on idiomatic Rust. I also worked on the developer experience for the Move language, and prototyped new distributed transaction architectures inspired by some ideas from our blockchain work.At the end of my time at Meta, I transferred to the central Rust team that was newly created in DevInfra, where I worked on preparing infrastructure for wide spread Rust adoption and getting Rust approved as a supported language for backend services.

Building new products in our machine learning and speech programs. As part of the Emerging Technologies leadership team, I help define the strategy for Mozilla's forward looking long term projects.

Technical lead on the Servo project, a parallel browser engine built in the Rust language. Managed the Servo team of ~10 people. Shipped several core pieces of Servo technology in Firefox, bringing our team's research to millions of users.

Lead on the Servo browser engine project. Project manager for the Daala video codec. Managed people across both the Servo and Daala projects. Collaborated with industry partners and standards organizations on our research program.
