A portion of my responsibilities involve field work, where I conduct field studies and engineering analyses for renewable energy projects across the US. Some of the various tests and studies include soil borings and rock coring, thermal resistivity testing, electrical resistivity testing, pile load testing, and laboratory material testing for soil and rock to design foundations and groundwork for wind turbines, solar panels, and battery storage facilities.The other portion of my responsibilities is centered in the office, where I input data from the field work previously mentioned, and utilize my geotechnical engineering knowledge to craft technical documents for our clients. I work to streamline the workflow of each project, gaining project management insight while helping to get geotechnical papers out the door for any of the various other offices across the US on projects in multiple US regions.Continued working over the school year as an intern, however solely in the office. This allowed me to continue my experience and education while simultaneously gaining skills from ANS Geo.
