• Role – responsible for the surveying, inspection and maintenance of the chemical tanker fleet ensuring all vehicles fully roadworthy and compliant with current regulatory and statutory requirements.• Technical Requirements – working in a team of 3 responsible for all vessel and valve work; predominately working on Chlorine and GP Barrels; occasional work on CO2 Refrigerated units; conduct periodic testing including hydro-static tests; completing inspections to ascertain problems and diagnose issues; order required parts and equipment; calibration and recommissioning.• Garage Environment – worked in the garaged environment for a short time carrying out planned maintenance and ad hoc works to ensure all vehicles maintained to MOT standards at all times; work included stripping pipework; air systems; pumps and regulators; axle strip downs; replacing drum or disc brakes.• Specialisation – valve specialist working on Yara and Airliquide tanks; working on different tanks and road barrels including Chlorine and GP barrels; valves including Hydrogen Fluoride Phoenix Valves and Relief Valves; working with air actuated systems and high pressure systems.• Customer Service – working with clients to ensure full customer satisfaction maintained at all times; provided advice and guidance; dealing with queries, requests and complaints.• Record Keeping – ensuring job cards are raised for all works completed; updating all records to maintain accurate maintenance history for all vehicles; recording all non-standard jobs.• Health and Safety – completing all works in line with health and safety requirements and in line with industry legislative guidelines.• Communication – liaison with people at all levels and understanding the need to adjust communication style to meet the needs of specific situations.• Tanker Call Outs – responsible for responding to emergency call outs; dealing with tanker accidents such as roll over or reactions; completing tank to tank transfers.

March 2012 – March 2015 Husco International Test EngineerBuilt and tested electro-hydraulic valves from engineering drawings for plant machinery including JCB and John Deere; worked with a range of valves from single spool hydraulic control valves to 6 spool servo valves; completed testing on a rig up to 300 bar; worked as part of a collaborative team to ensure all requirements met; managed daily requirements as well as out of hours call-outs.
