- Primarily focused on a web SPA used by health-care field agents to manage their clients and book of business. Built new and enhanced existing modules for Angular front-end (deployed as Docker images in Azure App Services) as well as Java/Spring Boot microservices (exposed as RESTful APIs), deployed as Docker images to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This work was heavily data-driven, using Liquibase to manage business-domain schemas in Microsoft SQL Server, as well as Apache Kafka to synchronize data among the business domains and to notify downstream services of CRUD operations.- To improve performance and to help alleviate load on the databases, used Azure Cache for Redis cluster with several nodes which functioned as a server-side cache.- Mentored junior engineers to implement best practices for code review and testing.- Initiated effort to standardize Angular and Java components for search, sort, and filter.- Orchestrated complex infrastructure environments in Azure using data-driven Terraform templates to allow code reuse across all environments.

- Primary focus was a web and native point-of-care solution for COVID-19 rapid test results. Built new and enhanced existing modules for the React front-end (deployed as a Docker image in Azure App Services). More of my work was on the backend,writing both Java and Kotlin Spring Boot microservices (exposed as RESTful APIs), deployed as Docker images to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).- Developed authentication/authorization solution for NAVICA, to create new services integrated with several Azure Active Directory tenants.- Developed backend for various metrics and statistics dashboards, using Python, with a heavy emphasis on Pandas and NumPy for data query and manipulation. These were deployed using Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.

- Spearheaded initiative to reduce monthly technology costs by over 50% at private medical practice. Replaced expensive vendor system for EMR and patient portal with custom, HIPAA-compliant solution hosted at AWS.- Developed from the ground up a web SPA built with React and hosted in AWS S3, with traffic managed through Amazon CloudFront.- Developed from the ground up a set of Java and Node.js RESTful APIs, deployed as Lambda functions managed through Amazon API Gateway. This work included integration withStripe and Venmo to process payments.- Enabled physicians to focus primarily on direct patient care, saving over 200 hours annually through automation of onboarding, secure document management, and billing workflows.

- Created Java/Spring Boot microservices (exposed as RESTful APIs), deployed as Docker images to enable real-time funds transfers via credit and debit card networks, as well as Automated Clearing House (ACH) for batch processing.- Created new Angular components for Zelle Payments.- Migrated clearXchange system data and software to launch Zelle Payments.

- Created new Java/Spring Boot services for clearXchange digital payments network. These were deployed as standalone on-premises applications in Apache Tomcat.- Automated workflow for onboarding new financial institutions to the clearXchange digital payments network, fostering collaboration in advocating for Agile methodologies.

- Formed part of a three-person architecture team to develop the clearXchange payments platform (basis for Zelle Payments) from the ground up.- Served as software lead for a team of 10–20 developers at Wells Fargo Advisors, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.- Streamlined onboarding for new incubator projects at Wells Fargo Labs by advocating for and developing shared services.- Saved over $1MM annually by advocating for and developing custom Quicken/TurboTax integration for Wells Fargo Advisors to replace vendor solution.
