Jack N. Fritz has been working in the Department of Defense field as a government contractor for 15+ years. During this time, he has gained valuable knowledge in various fields such as government property control, export compliance, forward and reverse logistics, transportation management, warehouse management, etc. He currently has 10 different supply points located in southern Maryland consisting of roughly 20 direct/indirect reports. Some general duties are as followed:• Assigned as the XXX XXX Material Manager for all on-site and off-site government property facilities – consisting of ten supply points holding over 50,000 unique lines of material worth over $100 million. • Experience in mitigating supply chain risks that consist of assessing system and component criticality, mapping supply chains, identifying critical suppliers, assessing supply chain threats and vulnerabilities, and monitoring effectiveness over time. • Develop and acquire resource requirements (equipment, personnel, software) to support new system requirements – i.e. Material Management Systems (MMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), etc.• Familiar with the government property requirements dictated in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Frequently reviews the 52.245-1 Government Property Clause to ensure contract compliance. • Develops and maintains internal supplier evaluations to measure on-time delivery, material and service availability, cost, customer service metrics, etc.
