Service Delivery

Designed and delivered training to diverse staff, to build organisational competency and validate UAT. Facilitated IT-Business interface to specify, cost and prioritise tool improvements. Authored successful grant application. Influenced international commercialisation model for other critical infrastructure sectors. Revised collaborative contracts (intellectual property issues). Technological Trial - Design & Implementation

Customer Services Division

Development and maintenance of policies/products with a customer-centric approach to ensure an integrated, equitable and scientifically valid approach to water management. Undertook a range of technical (chemistry & engineering) and non-technical work to ensure effective and adaptive business outcomes. Key focus on trade waste issues (treatment, licences, and holistic management).

Treatment & Infrastructure (Applied Research, Project Management)

Management of research and development project activities, with initiatives valued up to $5.5m;Completed literature review, critical analysis and research direction planning, developed business cases, board papers, and research agreements, facilitated stakeholder engagement, university liaisons, research facility partnerships, while managing and reporting against external resources.

Lower Hawkesbury Hub Bnr/Mbr Wwtps

Operational and administrative aspects of running two BNR and MBR (Biological Nutrient Removal and Membrane Bioreactor) WWTPs. As well as business-as-usual responsibilities, also instigated, designed and led successful process optimisation projects to increase nutrient removal, decrease chemical usage and improve solids production.

Odour And Corrosion Control

Monitoring, modelling and controlling hydrogen sulphide and its associated odour and corrosion issues in wastewater networks. Assessed and improved operational strategies and asset performance, with risk reduction (complaints, safety, capex/opex cost) being the key concern. Thorough experience gained in risk management, systems thinking and holistic design optimisation.
