I joined Harris + Hoole on a 2 year secondment from Tesco PLC. My core responsibilities were to run the supply chain and manage the relationships with our suppliers.Within the role, I also took responsibility for a number of cross functional projects, including:- Working with DigiTech to assess, select and implement a new EPOS system- Trialed a consumer product coffee brand on Tesco Shelves- Implemented a new waste and recycling initiative- Owned shop maintenance- Streamlined procurement process for new shops- Implemented a new back of house stock and ordering system- Improved training and execution of the HR system capabilities We grew the business from 0-52 shops in under 2 years. I developed a third party Supplier Management System, Vizibl, to support my role, which streamlined communication with our suppliers and maximised the value and performance we could drive out of them.

Project manager for the replatforming of the entire Rewards system. Representing the business and the customer in the wholescale change over an 18 month project.This lead onto a project to launch two separate Clubcard Applications. The first to help customers locate venues to spend their vouchers at, and the second a digital wallet for Clubcard vouchers and coupons.

Project managed the update of the My Clubcard Account website and improved functionality to make barcodes on coupons SMART. Implemented in April 2012 as phase 1 of the paperless Clubcard scheme.

Learnt about the Tesco business in Bangalore, working with the testing, support and development teams. Learnt the value of offshore resources, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Developed the International Operating Model for Fresh food and fresh food counters, leveraging the skill and experience of the UK business to improve the operations of our international businesses.
