Jack Peters utilizes 28 years of technical expertise and business experience in his role as Word-Tech’s Chief Information Officer. Jack has a proven track record in designing and delivering effective Technology Solutions to organizations in industries such as Legal, Energy, Financial Services, and HealthCare. Prior to coming to Word-Tech, Inc, Mr. Peters worked for Premium Standard Farms in Kansas City a multi-state company with over 5,000 employees. Starting as a LAN administrator in 1998 he held positions of Security Administrator, Database Administrator and was IT infrastructure Director when the company was purchased by Smithfield Foods in 2007. During his time at Premium Standard Farms, he oversaw development of key systems for the company and continuous improvements on the networks and infrastructure. All advancements in the applications, network and infrastructure were possible while maintaining a budget of less than 1 percent of sales. Prior to Premium Standard Farms, Mr. Peters held management positions in a law firm and for Sundstrand Aviation. Mr. Peters has a bachelor's degree in Business from Baker University, an MCSE certification, and has trained in Cisco ICND and Microsoft Database Administration. He also has a Journeyman's Certificate and was Certified to inspect aircraft parts. In his spare time, Mr. Peters enjoys exploring primitive caves, rock climbing and rappelling.
