I am currently enrolled at University College Birmingham, reading a BA in Hospitality with Events Management. I am a very determined individual and am very enthusiastic about the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge I have gained during my work experience and studies to a career in the Hospitality industry. Although my period as a flight attendant was short, dealing with the public and people from different cultures was valuable in getting to know how to relate to people and provide good customer service. Working as part of a team was a new experience for me. I quickly recognized the importance of communication, cooperation, and professionalism necessary for a cabin crew to perform their duties effectively, particularly concerning the safety and security issues a cabin crew is responsible for.I very much enjoyed my time working as a barman in Portsmouth. It was a very different environment dealing with the public than as a flight attendant, and I again learned valuable lessons regarding good customer service. I took advantage to learn as much as possible about the management of the bar, stock control, ordering, and staff rostering.I am keen to experience placement as a way of further developing my professional career and knowledge.
