I started selling when I was nine years old. On the back of Boy's Life magazine, I saw an ad to make big money selling Christmas cards. I could not resist and ordered a case. I had a natural market and sold the cards to my customers on my newspaper route. I sold out the first case and didn't do so well on the second one. Looking back, if I had a coach I would have sold to the other side of the street and sold out the second case as well. Since then, I've been a top-producing salesperson at Hewlett-Packard with a multi-million dollar annual quota and have won Tops in Sales and MVP awards.
