I am currently working for Pfizer on the design and construction of the state of the art DS2 plant in Dublin. A 1.2 Billion Euro capital project. Conducted model reviews ensureing model matches P&ID and PFD specifications.Used Python to automate the building and management of 10,000 entry xml data base to build search sets in Navisworks and Revizto allowing for the isolation of individual systems inside the model.Ensure continuity between the original process and instrumentation diagrams, 3D design model and physical building. This system is being designed with over 100 cross disciplinary engineers and 80,000 meters of piping.Support the installation and acceptance of equipment on site.

• In collaboration with the ORPC my masters theis project was building a Two way coupled FSI model of a cross flow turbine to examine how flow induced vibrations effected performance and fatigue life. This involved coupling a CFD model with a finite volume solids mechanics solver in the open source software Solids4Foam.• Built an OpenFoam simulation of a tidal turbine under typical loading scenarios.• This thesis is a simulation based project and has given me a deep understanding of OpenFoam and fluid dynamics as well as other computer skills such as using blender, Linux, and C++

• Worked under senior engineer in the programs department to design, build and validate GMP manufacturing lines for three different medical devices in different stages of development. • Designed and manufactured custom parts for boutique machines. Designed using Solidworks, for manufacturing by 3D printing or machining. • Supervised 2 week trial run of development line, repairing 3 downed machines and supervising manual operators. • Led a series of upgrades to a manufacturing line in development including, a full redesign of one manufacturing cell , developing a calibration method for a highly sensitive glue robot allowing for single minute exchange of dies, redesigning nest to hold device in a machine on the line and redesigning the layout of the room to reduce movement of operators. • Received my Lean bronze belt.

Working as part of a team in a customer facing role and my responsibilities include providing an excellent customer service experience, opening/closing the bar, stock management, and general housekeeping.

• Physically and Digitaly archived all documents in the plant such as manufacturing reports, analytical results, project reports and all other miscellaneous documents.• Assisted with safety checks around the site.

Worked as part of a team in a busy, fast paced high end customer facing role and I was responsible for managing a bar within the bar and leading a team of 3 floor staff. Worked in a high paced environment dealing with a high turnover with a focus on order consistency.
