“I love it when a plan comes together.”Yes, it’s a silly quote from an old TV show but it also sums up my feelings about my career. From the client’s need, to getting a team together, to the actual production, I truly enjoy the challenge and take pride in seeing it through, even if sometimes a need arises that does not fit neatly in the grooves of my job description. During the course of my career as a producer, I’ve had occasion to be an art director, logo designer, event planner, chauffeur, food stylist and have even driven around the state of Wisconsin to state parks delivering signs that our agency designed and built. I think it’s all part of the process and it’s all fun. I started in the industry as a high-end scanner operator, and retoucher and since my role has evolved to producer, with whistle stops at production artist, art buyer, and production manager along the way.
