After starting my first job in a factory at 15, I learnt the value of hard work and found an interest for personal finance as I saved for my first car and planned to develop a career in something I truely enjoyed. I love sports, ever since I was younger I would watch all kinds of sports. I paired this with my passion for business and finance. This led me to completing a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Sport Management and exploring a role within the sport industry. While I enjoyed it, the experience guided me back to my passion for the world of personal finance and investing, where I learnt more about the financial planning industry. I realised through helping my peers, that I have a genuine desire to help other people to reach their financial goals and this matches my skill set in customer relationships and business. I’m actively looking for a professional year within the advice industry and I would love to take on any opportunity possible to develop my professional career in the field.As for my experience thus far, I have years of experience working part-time roles while studying in fast-paced and consumer-driven environments. I've been able to develop key skills, whether that’s building customer rapport with our golf club members, expanding my skills in active communication, honing my ability to work effectively in a team or the many management and organisational skills I’ve had to develop to balance my work with full time study.
