Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Jack Ryan has pursued all aspects of Musical Theatre from a young age and recently appeared in Mad About Theatre’s 2021 Queensland Tour of ‘Priscilla Queen of the Desert’. As a passionate emerging performer, he has been fortunate to work with acclaimed vocal coaches Henry Kafoa (Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University) and Professor Dale Cox (Sharjah Performing Arts Academy).Jack pursued his studies, undertaking a Bachelor of Musical Theatre at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University in 2021. Under the direction of Mountview founder, Professor Paul Sabey, Jack has had the privilege of working alongside industry professionals Alister Smith (Cruel Intentions, David Venn Productions), Heidi Loveland (9 to 5 The Musical, Crossroads Live) and Dan Venz (Woodward Productions). He appeared in QCGU’s 2022 production of ‘42nd Street’ as ensemble/swing at the Conservatorium Theatre. This led to him being cast as Tiger Brown in ‘The Threepenny Opera’ which is set to perform at QPAC’s Tony Gould Studio this May. Later this year, Jack will be seen in QCGU’s production of ‘Urinetown: The Musical’.
