I am currently a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the University of Manchester's School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED).I was recently awarded a prestigious three-year Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship for my innovative research project, “Creating Urban Environments for Wellbeing: Advancing Methods and Theory.” This project aims to develop new tools and insights for understanding how changes in urban environments impact people’s wellbeing. My research sits at the intersection of public health, behavioral science, and urban research, with a focus on improving urban policy and decision-making for healthier cities. With a background in health psychology, I have held various academic research roles and have experience in a range of quantitative methods, from basic inferential statistics to complex multi-level regression modeling.I am particularly interested in using natural experimental methods to evaluate the health and wellbeing impacts of environmental interventions. I’ve collaborated with researchers, policy-makers, and urban developers in multiple natural experimental research projects, including the EU Horizon 2020 funded GrowGreen project, which assesses the health and wellbeing impacts of nature-based solutions in cities across Europe and China (https://growgreenproject.eu/).More information about my recent publications can be found online at Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.co.uk/citations?user=Wsz7gR0AAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao
