As a member of Teach For America, I was selected from a competitive pool of over 20,000 applicants to help transform educational opportunities in underserved schools. After leaving the classroom, I blended my passion in entrepreneurship and education, as co-founder and COO of Story2. Here I pioneered software that has taught over 250,000 people how to advocate for themselves through the neuroscience of storytelling. After discovering Spikeball, my friends and I decided that we wanted to bring people together around the sport. We created an annual tournament in Coney Island that soon became the world’s largest Spikeball tournament. This side hustle then became a full-time job allowing me to focus all of my energy on growing the sport. Over the past 10 years I have founded an international federation, organized a world championship, produced 15 broadcasts with ESPN, sold a million dollars in sponsorships, helped with the creation of hundreds of college clubs, and developed software with tens of thousands of users that connects the entire roundnet community. Now at ReciPal, I'm taking my passion for growing brands and building game changing software and applying it to the food industry. As the fifth employee, I couldn't be more excited for the opportunity to impact the continued growth of the company.
