Responsible for the accurate preparation, negotiation, award, and commercial management of various high dollar, complex and high risk engineering and construction contracts; and engineered equipment contracts for capital and maintenance projects related to electric power generating facilities, electric transmission and distribution facilities and natural gas delivery facilities.Currently functioning as Contracts Administration for the Energy Supply Division, including the Carbon Capture Use and Sequestration (CCUS) partnership with DOE, to be located in Polk County, Florida. CCUS is determined to be the cornerstone of meeting Tampa Electric's goal of 80% CO2 reduction by 2040. If fully approved by DOE, this $1.2B project should be operational in 2027.FEED preparation is underway in 2023.
