P&L responsibility reporting to the Group Executive Vice President with 10 direct and 150 indirect reports. Recruited to Alcoa/BHP/Integris Metals, now Ryerson.

The entrepreneurial launch of an award-winning $75 million PEO and human resources outsourcing business; 25 clients with 2500 employees in thirteen states. Full P&L and operating responsibility. Successfully sold and transitioned Barton Employment Outsourcing. Recruited to ITW Miller 3-Phase Systems.

Along with the CHRO responsibilities, held full P&L responsibility for a $35 million technology-based environmental remediation services business with offices in the U.S. and Australia. Founded ESI based on proprietary technologies to stabilize heavy metals in soils. Drove rapid sales growth to $35 million by the third year, generated over $4 million in free cash in 1997, and delivered EBIT performance in top 10% of the industry. Led successful auction, sale and transition of the business in 1997.
