In the fall of 2021, I was hired by the Burnaby Village Museum as a Carousel Operator. The position consists of operating the ride, ensuring safety by doing daily/weekly checkups of various components of the machine, documenting the daily statistics related to the ride, demonstrating safety to groups of people, demonstrating/taking part in excellent teamwork with the other operators. It is vital to work well together as it ensures the safety and efficiency of the attraction.

I worked as a parking attendant for the city of Burnaby on contract. this occupation consisted of standing watch at multiple vehicle entrance points for events over the course of the year. my job was to make sure that my lot had only those permitted to park and to guide those who weren't to an alternative spot.I would also set up the stations and help set up and clean up the events on occasion. In the fall of 2021, I was officially hired as an RFA within the City of Burnaby for the long-term future.

In 2021 I worked at the Burnaby Central Railway as an amusement ride attendant. With my time there I learned how to operate the trains (conducting and driving). I also learned safety enforcement, signage setup, and ticket taking. I saw how to deal with accidents such as derailments and how to fix them quickly, confidently, and safely. I also had a great deal of radio communication experience through the job. Overall I learned how to operate and understand the railway.

I worked as a theatre usher for the Shadbolt Centre for The Arts on numerous occasions throughout 2019. This job consisted of taking tickets for shows along with watching over the audience and making sure that no one was breaking the rules. such as using a smartphone to record the show or eating food and drink.
