I worked as a law clerk in the Environment, Planning and Local Government team at BAL Lawyers working primarily for NSW local governments, developers and community public interest groups. I effectively assisted in the preparation for civil enforcement, criminal and judicial review proceedings in the NSW Local Court, NSW Land and Environment Court and the Federal Court of Australia. This litigation role gave me an opportunity to practice in administrative and environmental law from both the perspective of the respondent and the applicant.
