Track and facilitate the workflow (including selection, shipment, tracking and receipt) of newly acquired and backlog books and serials to be cataloged. Manages stack maintenance activities for book and serial collections, including preservation and materials housing. Supervise duplication and reformatting workflows for offices of origin and patrons, initiating and tracking duplication orders and creating invoices and processing payments. Proactively assists patrons with use of materials both published and archival employing knowledge of collecting emphases and collections, while overseeing proper implementation of all public service policies and procedures. Aid graduate students needing help with theses and dissertations, reviewing formatting of paper/electronic submissions to ensure it follows all policies, procedures, and standards. Leads bi-quarterly teaching workshops for graduate students needing help with their theses and dissertations. Ensures streamlined and centralized flow of new materials from Acquisitions to Cataloging and communicate with booksellers regarding orders, returns, duplicates, etc. Track and manage circulation materials. Hire and train student staff.

Supervised the Langson Library Loan/Reserves Desk. Run quarterly Boolean lists for expired patrons for all three libraries, regularly closing the library as well as collect daily receipts from the cash register. Interview, hire, schedule and supervise 15+ students, including proper and effective training of student staff. Maintain the student manual on library Wiki. Work 20+ hours a week on the public service desk providing excellent customer service. Responsible for building security and for handling emergencies in the Langson Library and Gateway Study Center after hours. Serve as backup for Interlibrary Loan and Copy Services. Other responsibilities include fine collections, issuing library cards, handling difficult billing situations, troubleshooting of library machinery.

Completed physical processing of new materials purchased by library. Training and supervision of student workers. Act as liaison to other campuses and coordinated monthly microfilming shipments to appropriate locations. Collated and bound current periodicals for library collection. Treated and repaired damaged books from the library collections and assisted in cataloging of collection materials into ANTPAC items. Trained in use of binding machinery to assist in collation of current periodicals.

A student employee under the Loan Desk supervisor, responsibilities include knowledge of ANTPAC and Millennium, the check-in and checked-out of materials to patrons (including reserves), proper routing of materials, and answering phone calls at Loan/Reserves. Facilitated the search processes for materials located in various parts of the libraries. Helped to monitor building safety and provided excellent customer service.
