Student challenges have included every level from as simple as teaching basic sketching skills to as advanced as mechanical design and modeling advisory for small-scale product development.

This role allowed me to collaborate with an industry leading team in plumbing testing equipment by contributing to new product development including product design, material consideration, and safety verification. I was able to create a new product to add to the product line aimed at keeping pace with an ever growing demand for equipment to test large diameter commercial and residential plumbing systems. I was also able to perform analysis on and identify critical issues with an existing product which was previously shelved due to customer concerns. This product was generating millions of dollars of income prior to its discontinuation, and is expected to continue that trend upon its re-release.
