As a student worker in the IT Operations & Infrastructure department, I undertake various server management and systems administration tasks. My primary responsibilities involve the building & decommissioning of both physical and virtualized servers. I have played a key role in several significant projects, including tracking and assisting in the migration of Windows 2012 servers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 servers to updated operating systems.I have leverage my programming skills to write Python scripts that ensure accurate inventory management and to track tickets. Additionally, I utilize a variety of specialized software tools in my role, including: VMware, Zenoss, Carbon Black, GLPI, and Active DIrectory.This role has honed my technical skills and provided me with hands-on experience in server management, systems administration, and IT infrastructure.

In my role as a EdTech Lab Assistant, I provide comprehensive support to Temple University faculty, ensuring they effectively utilize a range of software tools, including: Microsoft Office 365, Canvas LMS, Zoom, Panopto, Voicethread.I manage and track support tickets using BMC Remedy, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Additionally, I help maintain a physical lab that houses Windows and Mac computers, scanners, and printers. My support is delivered through multiple channels, including in-person, Zoom, and over the phone, to assist faculty in overcoming technical challenges and adopting best practices for software use.
