Hello everyone, my name is Jackson Catron and I am a junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business with a major in Supply Chain Management with a collateral in Sales. Of all my characteristics, teamwork is one of my main strengths, I have played team sports my whole life, and I am a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and the Rowdies Crew at Tennessee. I am used to working with others to achieve a common goal and am willing to do whatever it takes to better the whole of whatever organization I am a part of. Another top strength of mine is that I am a loyal person, I am always willing to start whatever I finish and never give up when things get hard. Most jobs, organizations, and sports I have taken part in, I have stayed a part of for many years because I believe in trying to always improve and not jump ship when things are hard. My career goal is to work in the supply chain industry, focusing on transportation, specifically either trucking or aviation. I find this field very important because without people working to coordinate the transportation of products and parts, our whole economy and world as we know it would collapse. I would love to step in and be the one to strengthen existing and create new customer relationships because that is what creates a feeling of teamwork and success in all aspects of the business. Creating more profit for my company and creating a professional yet comfortable environment for my co-workers and customers are my top priorities. I one day would like to start my own company where I can revolutionize moving products or parts for companies through clean energy and efficient transportation.
