Clients range from young people purchasing their first car to multi-million dollar businesses purchasing a fleet of vehicles.After the stress of looking online, visiting multiple dealerships, speaking to multiple salespeople, negotiating a price (potentially trading in a vehicle) and then finally signing the paperwork, the client is usually exhausted, and so they should be. Buying a car is a mentally draining process.An important part of my role is to alleviate that stress; make the transfer of funds as easy as possible for the client. I sell finance by offering professionalism and convenience. Make the process easy for the client.

Not only did I sell parts to the customers, but I also ran the parts store, ensuring that the parts were there for the service team to service vehicles.Parts is the backbone of the service workshop, and that made my role pivotal for the success of the service department. Missing one item for a service means that not only does the service department not make any money, but they lose money by having a wasted service bay.It was this mindset that guided everything I did as a parts interpreter. Stores must be kept organised and parts must be available in order to make money and keep our clients happy. My stores were pristine.

Every client is different, and it takes understanding to not only recommend a vehicle to a client, but also ensure them that they're making the right decision, and it all starts with Qualifying and Evaluating.Selling a car is more than the transaction. Anything can be a transaction. Buying a car is a process, and usually a stressful one for the client. My role was not only to sell cars, but provide a hassle free and fun experience. You are selling you, the car is just the commodity.
