Joined the ongoing effort to restore and mitigate the impacts of a 2020 landslide in Vicksburg National Cemetery that affected over 120 burials of African-American soldiers killed in the American Civil War. Performed artifact sorting and analysis, aided in interpretive efforts, and engaged in outreach with the local community, particularly descendant communities of individuals buried in the affected areas.
