My leadership has been instrumental in the evolution of risk management strategies, particularly through the integration of cutting-edge Farmer Information Technology Enterprise System (FITNES) which is now being upgraded to incorporate Cloud Computing and Green Climate Financing.The success of the Bura irrigation scheme, a collaborative effort with AGRA, showcased my commitment to enhancing access to agricultural finance for smallholder farmers. My proficiency in credit analysis and portfolio management, coupled with a deep-rooted understanding of Agricultural Economics, drives my mission to innovatively support AFC's growth and risk mitigation in the dynamic sector of agri-lending.

  I am an agribusiness specialist with Agri-lending business development, Credit analysis andportfolio management experience spanning over 20 years. I have grown through variouspromotions to Head of risk in 2016 at Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) in Kenya (CurrentlyChief Officer-Risk & Compliance. In January 2015 was tasked to manage the Improving accessto agricultural finance by smallholder farmers in Bura irrigation scheme – a partnershipbetween Agricultural Finance Corporation and AGRA. This led to development and deployment of aFarmer Information Technology Enterprise System (FITNES) that is currently being upgraded withCloud Computing & Green Climate Financing capabilities.I have been a trainer from 2017 Executive Certificate inAgricultural Finance (ECAF) Curriculum implemented by Global Communities under the UnitedStates Department of Agriculture (USDA)-funded Agribusiness Investment for Market Stimulation(AIMS) program partnering with industry specialists in the various countries including Central Bankof Kenya’s Kenya School of Monetary Studies (KSMS) and Financial Access East Africa (FAEA).Trained over 200 Bank Managers & Credit Officers.Currently seconded to National Treasure as a Risk Expert in the implementation of the Kenya CreditGuarantee Scheme (CGS) following the enactment of the Public Finance Management (Amendment)(No. 2) Bill, 2020 on 3rd August 2020 and publication of the Public Finance Management (CreditGuarantee Scheme) Regulations, 2020 on 13th October 2020. The overall goal of the Scheme is toenhance access to credit by providing a partial guarantee for loans advanced to Micro, Small andMedium Enterprises (MSMEs). A key resource person in an ongoing design of a successor project toThe Program for Rural Outreach of Financial Innovations and Technologies (PROFIT) for reducing ofpoverty in rural Kenya to be called Rural Kenya - Financial Inclusion Facility (RK-FINFA) funded byIFAD & National Treasury.
