The Nutrition Sector TWG Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergency Co-Chair for the North East Nutrition Sector plays a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the effective implementation of nutrition initiatives, particularly focusing on infant and young child feeding during emergency situations. Reporting to the Nutrition Sector Coordinator, this position involves co-chairing the Technical Working Group (TWG) and collaborating closely with key stakeholders including government agencies, NGOs, and UN agencies to develop and implement strategic plans and policies. The Co-Chair provides technical expertise, guidance, and support to stakeholders involved in emergency response efforts, with a specific emphasis on addressing the nutritional needs of infants and young children. Key responsibilities include facilitating coordination among partners, advocating for the integration of evidence-based practices into emergency response plans, and promoting capacity-building initiatives to strengthen the nutrition response in the North East region.
