In this role I was the state's lead attorney in the area of Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) enforcement. I also practiced extensively in the areas of FLSA and employment discrimination. I also gained experienced in workers compensation practice, arguing in front of the Workers Compensation Court of Appeals multiple times.In addition to a large caseload, I handled a number of high profile cases. In the last year of my employment at the AGO, I enforced an administrative order against a Fortune 50 company through a multi venue litigation strategy. Additionally, when the city of St. Paul sued the state of Minnesota after the state terminated the city's ability to inspect restaurants. I was asked to step in and work outside of my usual duties to defend this lawsuit. In a case that garnered state wide attention, I successfully defended the city's attempt to take back the authority to inspect restaurants.
