I helped assist with any task assigned to me from contacting clients, sending out purchase orders to manufacturers, coordinating furniture deliveries and installations, contacting the manufacture and production to solve pertinent issues, maintaining an organized and clean showroom/ work environment, etc . Besides taking on the tasks assigned to me, I took it upon myself to form a Project Management and Receiving/Shipping system for the company to track all incoming shipments and keep all of the design projects organized and finished in a timely manner. Thus creating a more manageable work environment and allowing me to delve into more of a sales/design role. I worked on more than several client’s high end residential properties design and created custom furniture pieces and ensembles to fit specific needs. I would help assist the client to achieve the highest level of design quality, from field measurements, to color consultation, creating floor plans, and overall aesthetic. The growth and knowledge I’ve attained from this job will only continue to enhance my professional skills in the industry and make me a valuable team member of any company.
