I entered the motor rewind trade when starting my apprenticeship and cert 3 in electrotechnology in 2002 and completing in 2006. I then furthered my education with extended studies to obtain my electrical fitters licence. Once finishing my apprenticeship I stayed on with the company for many years conducting both on-site and workshop mechanical and electrical orientated work, rewinds and servicing. In 2018 I applied for a position which would give me the opportunity to expand my knowledge past round wire rewinds and into high voltage, both rotors and stators which has opened my eyes to a path I plan to pursue for the future. I have also been given the opportunity to work overseas conduction onsite shutdown work and HV onsite rewinds. I take a lot of pride in everything I set out to achieve which reflects within my working habits and skills
