SUMMERS 2022, 2023, 2024Worked in the Adventure Department, in Adventure Village. When on camp, I engaged with campers via typical camp activities, on the spot creative programming, and outdoor education such as learning hard skills (firebuilding, stove setup, tarp setup, etc.) When off camp, I co-led a series of 5-day backpacking trips in the Adirondack and Catskill wilderness. Campers were male and female, ages ranged from 10-14. Helped train new counselors, helping them build their leadership skills. Summer of 2024, I was the "Logistics Guide" for Adventure Village, helping the head counselor of the village consisting of 40 campers and 12 counselors with logistics, planning, sorting and any other issue that would have come up.I was also certified in WFA (Wilderness First Aid) during this time.
