I am an Ohio University Honors Tutorial College student double majoring journalism and environmental studies, with a minor in history. The Honors Tutorial College is a highly prestigious school within OU for programs across the university. I currently work as the Copy Chief for The Post, an award-winning independent student-run newspaper. I also serve as the Staff Writer for Thread Magazine, OU's largest student-produced magazine.Beginning in May 2024, I was given the opportunity to be an Editorial Fellow at Wild Side Media, a digital outlet with a unique brand of celebratory journalism. At the end of my fellowship, I was offered a freelance writer position. I am so excited to continue writing about D.C. and its cultural identity!
